Linux, unix and Aix commands used in real time for Websphere Application Server V7.0

Bellow Linux/Unix and Aix commands are frequently used in WebSphere application Server 

Command Used                            Purpose of the Command
cd                                  Use to Change the Directory
ls                                   To Display(listout) all files in the directory
ls -l                                It Displays all the files in long format listing
cd ..                               Use to go back one directory on the majority of all
vi                                   To edit (Visual editor)
tail                                 It represents the last part of the file
pwd                               It shows current working directory
ps                                  It list out currently running proceses
netstat                           It list out the network status
ifconfig                         It list out the information and configured network interfaces 
du                                  It list out you how much space a file occupies
df                                   It List out How much free disk space is available for each mount
