How To Create A Profile

Profile creation in 2 different ways
1. Through command prompt
2. Through Graphical user Interface(GUI)

1. Through Command Prompt :
      Using ManageProfiles.sh from command prompt you may do the below action
       I. -create
      II. -delete
     III. -deleteAll
     VI. -listProfiles
To Create a profile through command prompt use the bellow command
       ManageProfiles.sh -create -template path C:\ - ProfileName AppSrv1 -ProfilePath C:\---------------- -ServerName Server1 -Adminusername wasadmin -Password wasadmin1234 -StartingPort 3333 -ValidatePorts

Through Graphical User Interface : 

Open the Profile Management Tool either cmd Prompt/ Start menu

Click on Lunch Profile Management Tool

Click on Create 

Environment Selection

Select the environment from the list of environments and Click on NEXT

Select one of the above option and Click on NEXT

Optional Application Deployment

Select the optional deployments from the list and Click on NEXT

Profile Name and Location Screen

Give the Profile Name and Directory than Click on NEXT

 Node and Hostnames

Give the Node Name, Server name and Hostname than Click on NEXT

Administrative Security Screen

If you want to provide the security to your environment enable the administrative Security

Give the username and password than Click on NEXT

Once Profile creation completed you are getting the below screen

After successful creation of the profile you get the below screen that is First Steps Screen

Click Installation verification option on that screen
It will check the Installation process and start the profile(server)

WebSphere Application server default Port Numbers are

wc_defaulthost             : 9080
wc_defaulthost Secure : 9443

wc_Adminhost             : 9060
wc_Adminhost Secure : 9043
